SYNOPSIS: As of 3:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was located at 835 km East Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon (24.8°N, 128.7°E). The Southwest Monsoon is affecting Southern Luzon and the Visayas.


FORECAST:

- Western Visayas, Palawan (including Kalayaan Islands), and Occidental Mindoro: Expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon.

- Rest of Visayas: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, also due to the Southwest Monsoon.


Winds and Sea Conditions:

- Light to moderate winds from the southwest will prevail over the whole Visayas, Palawan (including Kalayaan Islands), and Occidental Mindoro. Expect slight to moderate sea conditions.
