Metro Manila and Luzon

- Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

- Note: These conditions are typical for this season, caused by localized thunderstorms. Be cautious of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.


Visayas

- Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

- Note: Similar to Luzon, localized thunderstorms are expected and can lead to flash floods in vulnerable areas.


Mindanao

- Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

- Note: Localized thunderstorms may cause sudden heavy downpours, so it’s best to stay prepared.


Baguio City

- Weather: Cooler temperatures ranging from 17°C to 24°C with partly cloudy skies, rain showers, and thunderstorms.

- Chance of Rain: 90%

- Note: Due to the high chance of rain, it’s advisable to stay dry and carry an umbrella.


Low Pressure Areas (LPAs) Monitoring


PAGASA is currently monitoring two low pressure areas (LPAs):


1. First LPA: Located 135 kilometers west-southwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. This LPA is expected to move west and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Saturday.

2. Second LPA: Located 880 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas. This system may move west-northwest and could approach the eastern part of Northern Luzon in the coming days.


These LPAs and the southwest monsoon will bring moderate to heavy rains over Western Visayas, Negros Islands Region, Northern Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro. By Saturday, Northern Palawan and Occidental Mindoro could see moderate to heavy rains. The public is advised to take precautions as flooding and rain-induced landslides remain likely, especially in hazardous areas.
