SYNOPSIS: As of 3:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was located at 835 km East Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon (24.8°N, 128.7°E). The Southwest Monsoon is affecting Southern Luzon and the Visayas.



Forecast Weather Conditions



Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan:

- Weather: Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms

- Cause: Southwest Monsoon

- Impacts: Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains



The rest of Bicol Region, the rest of MIMAROPA, and the rest of CALABARZON:

- Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms

- Cause: Southwest Monsoon

- Impacts: Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms



The rest of the country:

- Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms

- Cause: Localized Thunderstorms

- Impacts: Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms

MANILA, Philippines — Former Senator Leila de Lima reiterated on Monday that former President Rodrigo Duterte must be held accountable and imprisoned for his alleged crimes against humanity as the "instigator and inducer" of the extrajudicial killings during his antidrug campaign.
